tired of the same spammers showing up in your overviews again and again? I’ve built a small open-source add-on for Zammad:
An agent applies the macro “Close & Tag as Spam”, and that sender is blocked from then on. Future mails from that sender go straight to a separate spam group, already closed. Your overviews stay clean, and nobody has to create postmaster filters by hand.
Blocked mails are not deleted. They stay searchable in the spam group, so if someone marks a customer as spam by mistake, you can find the mails and undo it.
It runs as a small Docker container next to Zammad and uses only built-in features: a macro, a trigger, a webhook and postmaster filters. The README has a step-by-step setup guide:
We’ve been using it in production with ~650 blocked senders. Feedback and ideas welcome!
