Need help to understand Role and Group permissions

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: last
  • Used Zammad installation type: (source, package, docker-compose, …) package
  • Operating system: debian 10
  • Browser + version: FF

I would like some help to understand correctly Role and Group permission.

I give access to 3 Group to a Role (Agent)

  • Group 1 : Full
  • Group 2 : Full
  • Group 3 : Full

So Agent can access all the 3 groups.

Now, I have an Agent who work only on Group 3, so for this User (in User part), I give Agent permissions and Group 3 only : Full

Why this agent who have permissions only for Group 3, can access Group 1 and 2 without problem?

With your given information i can only assume your configuration is messed up (no front). Make sure you have a look at the docs and adjust your settings. If everything’s ok on your side please share your config.
