Multi-tree-selection-fields and reports - Bug

  • Used Zammad version: 5.4.0 and 5.5.0-alpha
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: Debian 11
  • Browser + version: Firefox 102.8.0esr (also happens in Chrome)

Expected behavior:

  • Report profile: When I filter by values of a multi-tree-selection-field, the corresponding tickets should be displayed.

Actual behavior:

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Create a new (custom) ticket attribute with a few values and sub-values (type: Multi-Tree-Select).
  • Restart Zammad.
  • Update a few tickets and select some values of the multi-tree-selection-field.
  • Create a report profile, which uses the custom attribute as a filter.
  • Open the reporting menu and select the created report profile.
  • The error message is shown.

I tried it on the 5.5.0-alpha-Version as well as the stable version 5.4.0 - both versions show this error message. Reports, that don’t use multi-tree-selection-fields as a filter are working fine.

I think this is a bug.

Does anyone know something about this behaviour? Or did I do something wrong while creating the report?

Thank you.

Looks like there’s a confirmed bug report by now:
