Local translations of locally entered data

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 5.4.1
  • Used Zammad installation type: (source, package, docker-compose, …): Package
  • Operating system: Debian 10 buster
  • Browser + version: Chrome – latest/ Firefox

Expected behavior:

Data inserted into the application (overviews, objects, etc) should have a possibility of translation other than the console mode (preferable: interface/application view).

Actual behavior:

Actually Zammad does not support such a “behavior”, forcing the user (administrator) to search for (sometimes bizarre) bypasses. The “translations” sections do not contain locally entered data (overviews & object f.e.).

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

“Translations” section is of limited use, mostly because of user can not add new words (translations). Expected behavior: possibility of adding translations of inducted data (objects, overviews, etc) – locally.

That looks like a feature request if the inline translation function is not working in your case.
