Not sure if this is a feature request or I’m missing something but how do I allow customers to launch chat from within Zammad in their customer view?

The chat channel is meant for your websites not within Zammad itself.
If you think that’s a must have, create a feature request here (if there’s none yet):
We often receive feature requests… through all different channels. We’d like to have them all here in one place. So everyone, who is interested can participate.
Also we think about to introduce a community voting for features. We tried it at GitHub, which resulted in muddled pile of tickets.
