List of Ticket stays blank after changing category

  • Used Zammad version: 4.0.x
  • Used Zammad installation type: (source, package, docker-compose, …): Package
  • Operating system: Debian 9
  • Browser + version: Same behaviour with Edge/Firefox or Chrome all up-to-date

Expected behavior: Upon changing the category in the Tickets-Overview of a customer with the assigned group “customer” the ticket list should show all tickets.

Actual behavior: Upon changing the category in the Tickets-Overview it stays empty. Only a manual refresh of the website shows the Tickets again.

Workaround: Create a copy of the customer group and assign the group the Agent role without any permissions. Then change the users “customer” group to the cloned one. Afterwards changing Ticket-Overviews shows all tickets as expected without having to manually refresh.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:
-Install zammad
-Let a customer write a mail
-Set a password for that customer
-Let the customer login onto the Ticket System dashboard
-Check whether the customer can access all ticket-overviews and actually see the tickets or if the overview stays blank

DO NOT use above workaround. It provides access to all your customers which is a serious data leak.

You’re affected by this bug and may want to update to latest stable.
