LDAP users and Organizations

Hello everyone!

  • Used Zammad version: 6.0.0
  • Used Zammad installation type: (source, package, docker-compose, …) from package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu Server 22.04
  • Browser + version: last of Chromium

Is anyone can help me to solve this problem?

Expected behavior:

  • After synchronization with LDAP organization must automatically was assigned to all of them by domain

Actual behavior:

  • If user has name like ‘john@domain.com’ - it’s works perfectly! But if user has name with dots like ‘john.doe@domain.com’ - nothing is works.

Please, help. I tried to play with attributes, but it not help me.

Are you sure that the user with the . in the name did not exist before the first sync?
Organization domain based assignment only affects users that are created newly.

If you enable domain based assignments and update the user, nothing will happen.
