Ldap integration multiple values for mail field

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 4.0.0
  • Used Zammad installation source: package (CentOS 8)
  • Operating system: centOS 8
  • Browser + version: firefox 87

Expected behavior:

  • In our LDAP Environment we have multiple entries for the email field.
  • We’d like to see all emails for the users

Actual behavior:

  • The integration fails to create all the emails and just uses the first one

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Have an LDAP-Server with multiple entries for the mail field and try to sync them to zammad.

You could do so by creating custom objects for those email addresses and map them?
The only thing that won’t work is using all those multiple mails for the user. This means that if the user does use another email address than the main one (email) a new user may be created.

Zammad not (hopefully yet) supporting multiple emails per Customer/Agent/Admin/User … There are multiple Feature requests for that.

In worst case you system ends up to have a user 5 times or more :frowning:
