Installing Zammad on RHEL 7 with Apache

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 4.1 (latest)
  • Used Zammad installation type: source
  • Operating system: RHEL 7
  • Browser + version: N/A

I am trying to install Zammad 4.1 on a Red Hat 7 server for research purposes. I am installing from source because that is evidently the easiest way to set up Zammad with Apache.

I am running into issues with this configuration as for whatever reason Apache cannot find mod_proxy_html. I have looked online and cannot find any solution as to why it is not available.

Is there a way to install the package version of Zammad and use Apache instead of nginx, and MariaDB instead of PostgreSQL?

Thank you.

Also the documentation does tell you how. Did you have a look…?
