Group Users as default

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 7.0.0-1774342817.b82372af.noble
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu Server 24
  • Browser + version: Microsoft Edge Version 146.0.3856.84

Expected behavior:

  • When creating a new ticket in the web interface as a customer, the group “users” should automatically be selected as the default.

Actual behavior:

  • I have to manually select “users” from the dropdown menu.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

my core workflow:

  1. Name: Customer Interface: Gruppen ausblenden
  2. Objekt: Ticket
  3. Kontext. Erstellmaske
  4. Ausgewählte Bedingungen: Rolle ist Customer
  5. Aktion:
    Gruppe fest eingestellt auf Users
    Gruppe auswählen Users
  6. Rest default

Should be no problem, maybe even better you could only select if it is empty so the user is able to change it.

Selected Conditions

  • Session → Role is Customer
  • Group not set

Action

  • Group select Users
