# Exporting from a ZAMMAD instance to another one

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to export tickets from a ZAMMAD instance and re-import on another one (same version 3.4.x, same RDBMS, same OS).
Tickets can have same states in both the instances, just I have to import tickets of an organization which exists on one instance and currently does not exist in the other, to unify the TTM system

Yes and no.
This is technically possible, but super complicated and requires custom scripts.
I would encourage against this approach.
The only way I see is using the API which will help.
Keep in mind that IDs may be used already, so you cannot rely on ID references.
This is what makes this so complicated.
There are no helper scripts for that, this use case is out of our scope.
