Error SSL with SMTP port 25 & 26

  • Used Zammad version: 5.1.0
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: debian 11

Expected behavior:

  • not to have the error and to be able to pass without ssl

Actual behavior:

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • the postfix server is not in the company network

This is not a Zammad problem, you should check the configuration of your mailserver and test the correct settings with a different client first. Maybe your mailserver doesn’t allow unencrypted SMTP.
Never heard of an STMP server using port 26

Modern email servers use port 587 for the secure submission of email for delivery. Maybe try this port?
