Error: Outbound only Email Setup

  • Used Zammad installation source: package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 16.04

Actual behavior:

Got error while adding our email SMTP settings for the outbound setup only.

ERROR:
502 Command “AUTH PLAIN AGljdGR0ZXN0bWFpbEBsYXVzZ3JvdXAuY29tLnBoADEyMzQ1Njc4” not implemented

“SMTP Settings IBM Domino Server - Email App / Lotus Notes / IBM Notes”

Any Idea?

Sorry I have no idea regarding this issue.
Your E-mail-Server does not seem to support Plain-Authentication.

Could you please provide your configuration for the Account?
Are you using SSL for the connection to your E-Mail-Server?

Thank you for your reply i will check the email server settings for the Plain Auth… I only confuse because in other app i will only input like what in zammad but it works…

For the SSL will check to our email team but i guess yes we using SSL , do i need some configuration for the ssl settings ?
