Enable MFA settings but do not allow password change

Thank you for the MFA support in Zammad 6.1.

We use LDAP as the user backend in our setup and have therefore disabled the option to change passwords. This means that the “Password & Authentication” menu item is no longer displayed. However, this one contains the setup fields for MFA.

Is there a way to enable MFA for users without them being able to change their password?

That’s not possible due to the settings being in the same menu.
Sounds like a feature request for me:

Sounds like we missed this during the implementation.

Ok, now after I tried to verify it, I need some information, in which situation it’s disabled for you? Which settings do you use to disable the “password change” profile section?

Hi Dominik, I used this option in the role settings window:

Ah, thanks, makes sense, but this is no more problematic than first expected.

We need to check would could be the best way here.
