Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 3.6.x
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: ubuntu 18.04
  • Browser + version: Version 92.0.4484.0 (Official Build) canary (64-bit)

Expected behavior:

  • enable to switch chat (embed code) onto knowledge base portal

Actual behavior:

  • can’t see any options to add via admin UI
  • can’t see any layout guide on how to do that

There is no official way to do this.
You can add the code yourself, but the updates will overwrite the manual change.
