DNS not resolving

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: Don’t know how to find
  • Used Zammad installation source: (source, package, …) package
  • Operating system: CentOS

Expected behavior:

  • imap working to receive email tickets

Actual behavior:

  • can not connect to FQDN for email. Can not ping to www.google.nl

I have installed a test server a while ago and it worked. Since then i have changed my router and the DNS is changed in my network.
I want to know how to change the DNS in the zammad server settings. Can’t find how.

DNS is not related to Zamad and the DNS setting should be in your operating system…

Ok i understand. I did a install on centos. Normally i can view my config with ifconfig, but now thats not working.

Problem is solved bij editing /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-*
