Default Zammad FDQN can't be modified

  • Used Zammad version: 6.4.1-1736159868.df374f06.noble
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 24.04
  • Browser + version: safari 17.6

Expected behavior:

  • after updating Zammad FQDN via the terminal: sudo zammad config:set ZAMMAD_FQDN=XXXX , The default zammad fqdn is XXXX

Actual behavior:

  • The command sudo zammad config:set ZAMMAD_FQDN=XXXX not updating the default zammad fqdn(“zammad example com”) and the email processing during signup and sign in doesn’t work as expected. Domain of sender address noreply@zammad example com does not exist, stat=User unknown.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

What config are you using for email?
Also, is there a specific reason you can’t just change this in the GUI? I just wanna know what happens if you do it through there. I believe I set up my instance with the FQDN through the GUI.
