Closing ticket is not successful every time

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 4.1.x
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: CentOS Linux release 7.9.2009 (Core)
  • Browser + version: Google Chrome 94.0.4606.61 (64bit)

Hi, I am currently using Zammad version 4.1.x.

When I close a ticket, it does not close successfully every time, as shown in the image below.

From the image, tickets that are closed successfully will show green circles. There are some tickets that show red or orange circles, these are tickets that are not closed successfully.

From the history of these tickets, you can see that there were records of being closed.

However, you will actually find that the OWNER of this ticket is “blank” and STATE as “new”,
as shown in the picture below.

At this point, if you try to close the ticket once, it will be closed successfully.
However, no new actions appeared in history.

We haven’t found the cause of this problem since it’s not occurred every time.
If you need any logs for debugging, please let me know.
Thank you very much!

Did you try to reload to check if this is possibly a caching issue?
Any errors in your production.log that may hint to issues?

I mean if the request of your Browser is a success then this may be mere caching.
This would also explain why Zammad doesn’t add new values to the history - because it’s already the state.
