Channel microsoft 365 Outbound Error

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 4.1.0 ( last build )
  • Used Zammad installation type: Package
  • Operating system: Centos 7
  • Browser + version: Chrome version 105.0.5195.54

Expected behavior:

  • Green Dot ( all working good )

Actual behavior:

  • Red Dot " Can’t use Channel::Driver::Smtp: #<Net::OpenTimeout: execution expired>"

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • i added some Microsoft 365 channels to zammad
    Some channels ( mailboxes ) are working fine , but some of them has Outbound problem
    with this message " Can’t use Channel::Driver::Smtp: #<Net::OpenTimeout: execution expired>"

there is no permission diffrence between the mailboxes
why this is happen ?
can anyone give me a direction ?

Yes you have to enable " authenticated client SMTP submission (SMTP AUTH) in Exchange Online" for single Mailboxes or your Organisation.

Or you hav a Firewall that blocks the Port 587 for SMTP TLS
