Change Zammad time zonz


I want to know how to change the Time zone in Zammad

  • Used Zammad version: 3.6.0
  • Used Zammad installation source: Helm Chart zammad-3.4.0
  • Operating system: AWS EKS v1.17

Expected behavior:

Changing the time zone from Zammad GUI will change the time zone when checking a ticket history .

Actual behavior:

The time zone in the ticket history is still in UTC


Hwo to change the time zone in Zammad and it there any impact on the system if it changes .

All dates are stored in UTC values within Zammads database.
You can’t change this behavior - this is because if you have a support team across continents, your agents will need local times. Zammad will ensure that for you.

As for displaying UTC values in the history, there’s a bug report for that which you can find here:

Only solution is to wait until it’s merged / fixed.
