Can't receive mails with Zammad

  • Used Zammad version: 2.1.x
  • Used Zammad installation source: (source, package, …) CentOS
  • Operating system: Mac
  • Browser + version: Safari AND Chrome, latest version

Expected behavior:

  • I’ve activated ticket creation by form and I’ve configured E-Mail. The idea is to report tickets by form as well as by mail.

Actual behavior:

  • If I send an e-mail directly to the configured address I can receive the request in my mailbox but no ticket was created in zammad
  • If I create a ticket by form, the communication over email after that works properly
  • I’ve checked e-mail configuration with the integrated connection checker and no issues were found
  • I’v checked user roles and rights. There are no restrictions

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • configure e-Mail
  • configure form
  • send a mail to e-mail address => no ticket is created
  • fill out and send a form => a ticket is created and can be answered by mail

How do you pull your e-mails into zammad?

Please provide E-Mail-Configuration (domain.tld can be exchanged) and a tunacated production.log
