Auto open ticket if a certain string is in the Subject line

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 5.2.x
  • Used Zammad installation type: (source, package, docker-compose, …) ubuntu 20.04 server install
  • Operating system: ubuntu server 20.04 LTS
  • Browser + version:

I have emails that come into a mailbox. However, Zammad is opening a ticket with every email that comes in. Is there a way I can specify to only open tickets with a certain string in the subject line? Such as “Service Request”. And to have Zammad NOT open the ticket if it is missing from the subject line?

Why not just create your own rule in your mailbox to say anything that comes into a certain folder should have a ticket created for it, seems easier.

In the Zammad mail setting, you can specify a folder.

Cheers
Robert

Looks like I overlooked that. I’ve got it handled. Thanks for the tip.
