Allow to modify e.g. status-selection in Ticket creation for new rols

Hi there,

to manage the permissions for different teams within our organisation we created some extra rols. We now want to restrict the actions for each roll (e.g. not allow to close a ticket -> not able to select a specific status). This is possible in the rails console but only for the overall role agent or customer.

Is there a possibility to restrict the view for a specific status AND a custom role?

Zammad allows you to technically restrict what a customer or agent can select (see: https://docs.zammad.org/en/latest/admin/console/working-on-tickets.html#limit-available-states-for-customers ), however - this is for the “origin” or person, not a role.

So short: No, you currently can’t restrict states by a specific role.

As far as I’m aware that’s not on our list at the moment.
