After compiling Zammad from the source code, it cannot run properly and fails to locate resources

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 6.4.1
  • Used Zammad installation type: (source, package, docker-compose, …)
  • Operating system: ubuntu 20.0.4

I tried compiling Zammad from the source using the method described in this link: Install from Source — Zammad System Documentation documentation. After running rake assets:precompile and using NGINX as a proxy, many resources return a 404 error. I haven’t been able to find a solution.

I also noticed that after compiling, the generated filenames have encrypted suffixes or fingerprints. Is this expected behavior?
