Adding Second Email Channel - Exchange


When adding a second email channel to my Zammad instance it errors out with Server Unavailable .15. The connection settings are all correct as I have one exchange channel configured already with the exact same server settings and that works.

  • Used Zammad version: 2.4
  • Used Zammad installation source: (source, package, …) Package
  • Operating system: CentOS 7
  • Browser + version: Chrome 66

Expected behavior:

  • Add additional email channel for exchange account, account should be added and assigned to group.

Actual behavior:

  • Add additional email channel for exchange account, error of server unavailable .15

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Add a second email channel for exchange account

We have different groups, each with its own mailbox for mail2ticket configured.
So it seems to be no general problem and related to your environment.

Maybe you could provide more detailed information about your issue?

Thanks for your suggestions, it would appear that the issue was my environment rather than the bug you linked me to. Because we were running Exchange load balanced over two servers with 2 databases, one account was located on one server and the second account was on the other. The one I was trying to add was connecting to a server where the IMAP service had stopped. Sorting that corrected the issue.
