Add contactgroups for email recipient fields

  1. What is your original issue/pain point you want to solve?
    To often select the same email recipients quickly. e.g. like contactgroups in microsoft outlook
  2. Which are one or two concrete situations where this problem hurts the most?
    to send mails to specific usergroups repeatedly
  3. Why is it not solvable with the Zammad standard?
    Support said isnt
  4. What is your expectation/what do you want to achieve?

The templates are mandatory. Please use them, we didn’t set them up because we were bored.

Ive added the questions… better?

The template looks like so.

Title: <Short but meaningful description of the feature>
1) What is your original issue/pain point you want to solve?
2) Which are one or two concrete situations where this problem hurts the most?
3) Why is it not solvable with the Zammad standard?
4) What is your expectation/what do you want to achieve?

If there is any more useful information, feel free to share it all (e.g.: mockup screenshots, if something is UI related, or the API URL/documentation URL for a service you need a connection to).

Your Zammad environment:
* Average concurrent agent count:
* Average tickets a day:
* What roles/people are involved:

Anything else which you think is useful to understand your use case:

Thank you and have fun.

Hi, ik how the template looks and Ive used it. I just dont think the missing infos would benefit anything on this clear FR as everyone knows outlook.

Or does this help you?

  • Average concurrent agent count: 10
  • Average tickets a day: idk 20?
  • What roles/people are involved: IT-department uses zammad and writes internally or to other departments

I dont have more Infos than that. Just writing this as my workcollege was missing the feature he loves in outlook and support said its indeed not in zammad yet and I should write it here. Now Ive put enough time in this

Yes that helps to understand the scope of your request. Thanks.

Will you remove that missing-template tag now or isnt that important?
(Like for me as an outsider it looks like thats an ignore-this-request-tag, could be wrong).
Thanks

I think on many answers from my end (and possibly behaviors) people see and know that I’m not one of the subtile persons. If I have a problem, I communicate it without flowers. A tag would reflect that.

Apart from that, while we are busy, we are evaluating every feature request before denying it (we have a category for that) or consider it further.

Alright thank you for that explanation and remove of the tag!
