# Add a Confirmation Dialog Before Updating a Ticket

Hi Team,

Good day!

I would like to suggest adding a confirmation dialog when clicking the **Update** button in Zammad to help prevent accidental ticket updates or email submissions.

Currently, there is no confirmation prompt before the action is executed. For example:

- We may accidentally click the **Update** button.

- While drafting an email, our cursor may be positioned over the **Update** button without us noticing. When we press **Enter** to start a new line, the button may be triggered, causing the draft to be sent unintentionally.

These situations may result in incomplete or unintended emails being sent to customers.

**Suggested improvement:**

Display a confirmation dialog before executing the update action, allowing users to confirm or cancel the action before the ticket is updated or the email is sent.
