24/7 Business hours calendar

Zammad: 2.10.x
Installation: Docker - 2.10.0-155
OS: Ubuntu 19.04
Browser: Brave 0.63.48 Chromium: 74.0.3729.108 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Expected behaviour:

A LANParty operates 24/7 during the weekend (Friday evening from 18:00 until Sunday 17:00)

For Friday, I fill in: 18:00-24:00
For Saturday: 00:00-24:00
For Sunday: 00:17:00

Actual behaviour:

Zammad does not accept the midnight notation for 24:00
For Saturday, it also does not allow 00:00-00:00 or 00:00-24:00, or at least, I wasn’t able to find the correct way for doing this. ( )

Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

Create a new calendar and try to define a 24 hour day.

There are obvious workarounds for this --> 00:00-23:59 but would be nice to have an officially supported way for defining this

Hey @carroarmato0

true!

It looks strange at first glance to type in 00:00 - 00:00 but this would be the correct way.
If you’re doing 00:00 - 23:59 you’re leaving out a “whole” minute (23:59 - 00:00).

I know we’re nitpicking on this but technically you’re totally right.

cheers

Yeah, the interface doesn’t accept 00:00-00:00 notation (“nonesensical hours provided”), for humans doesn’t make a lot of sense either as the concept of the beginning of the day and midnight.
